About

The Postgraduate Programme in “Theoretical and Applied Linguistics” aims to broaden knowledge and deepen your understanding of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics. It awards a Postgraduate Degree (MA) in the specialisations: (a) “Linguistics”, (b) “Foreign Language Learning and Teaching”, (c) “Language, Literature and Digital Media in Education”.

The Programme

  • offers excellent theoretical background in the areas of specialisation
  • equips with skills for independent research
  • prepares for postgraduate studies at the doctoral level
  • connects theory with practice and
  • provides a competitive advantage in the labour market through the provision of high-quality scientific work

All specialisations are three semesters in length on a full-time basis only. The specialisation “Linguistics” is offered exclusively via distance learning (100% synchronously online), while the other two specialisations are offered exclusively in person.
